Sunset Time

There is a saying, "People plan, and God laughs!" Well, in my world, I make a plan, and my iCal laughs! LOL, all the way.

Last Monday morning, my week started off crazy and continued that way. My 9:15 am became a 10 am, and my noon appointment requested to change to Tuesday morning, which was ok, but it made my Tuesday jam-packed. Basically, that became the tone of my week, not just of my Monday. It was like playing chess all week, keeping myself organized, and maintaining a new business. But I must say, as crazy as my days get, I look forward to my favorite part of the day, "Sunset Time."

The balcony doors are flung open, and I have a full view of a beautiful, orange, candy-colored sky. My fur babies are in their beds, watching me prep dinner, waiting for hubby to come home, and we are doing our thing. Sunset time is when we forget about the days' hustle and bustle, and we start to enjoy our time together.

I always start dinner, and Brian likes to finish it. Once we sit to enjoy our feast, we both look at each other and say today was a great day because we are now together, ending it with a beautiful dinner, enjoying what matters most - each other's company.

So Happy Monday to all !! Whether it's going to be a Manic Monday or not. That's ok because nothing is holding me back from enjoying what really and truly matters. At the end of the day, I will be home with my family and the breathtaking Arizona sunset.
