Let's Talk About Color!!

Let's take a minute and talk about color – and its essential role in the world we live in. It can sway our decisions and cause reactions.

My all-time favorite color is Chartreuse or Pale Lime Green with a hint of yellow.

– it represents abundance, renewal, growth & nature—a healing & calming color. Lots of spa's & natural path doctors use this color in their offices.

We all have our favorite color that motivates us for goodness. What is your favorite color?

The other day someone asked me if I drink "Gin"? I was taken aback because "Gin" is not an everyday topic of conversation. People talk "Wine" all the time, tequila and Vodka, but I hardly hear about Gin.

Empress Gin is new and blue (actually Indigo Blue, not just simple blue).

I don't drink Gin, but when you google it between the website and the spirit's fun color, I seriously consider changing my drink of choice.

That's when I realized the importance of color in the design.

My designs first come from the fabric's color, then the type of cloth; last, I create the design.

Color is where my direction begins, Crazy and backward, yep, but it's my way.
